WellRound Travel App
The Design of an app to connect people
WellRounded is a travel app designed to connect travelers with locals and tour guides to enhance their experiences. Our research through surveys and interviews revealed that travelers desire unique experiences but often feel overwhelmed by choices.
In response, we created an app that offers curated recommendations based on user preferences. Over four weeks, our team of four collaborated on the project, sharing tasks evenly. The

Final Thoughts
This project was an excellent learning opportunity, especially since it was my first group project. It taught me a lot about collaborating with others on a creative endeavor. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into the design process, including how to develop an idea from a small concept to a fully realized project. Finally, this experience enhanced my understanding of user research, emphasizing the importance of designing with user insights in mind and making necessary iterations.
Next Steps
-
Due to time constraints in we could not do high-fidelity testing and iterations.
-
Due to this being a class project, we were limited by being unable to do the real-world application.
-
Going further into research, local users would be very important in developing the guide side of the app.
